Thus Lissalei invites us to share her world. An outsider in the truest sense—self taught and apart from the mainstream art world—she studied nature and the works of artists like John Godward and John Fitzgerald. She moved from painting to porcelain, but a catastrophic accident made them impossible and she turned to digital art. Although much of her work has a strong social context, this collection is more concerned with showing off the breadth of her work from revisiting the classic to the surreal and abstract.
